Every Project Needs a Process

“We measure what’s important to us.”

What is your end goal? Most can answer this question, but so many don’t know how to get there. They know what they want things to look like at the end, but have no idea how to make it look that way. We see this in branding, as every client has a thought as to what they want to see at the end: something original that speaks their brand. We see it in web development, as every client knows how they want their site to flow for their end user. But here’s the thing: they may know what they think they want, but that have no idea how to turn that into a new reality.

That’s where we come in.

It’s our job to translate their abstract thoughts and turn it into a something concrete that they can lead into the future with. How do we do this?

  • We start with the end in mind. The end is your key performance indicator (KPI) as identified by the client and accepted by everyone on the project. We all work toward that.
  • Then we set up project milestones along the way. We identify key markers to hit throughout the process, agree to it as a team, and make sure we have someone is running point on each step.
  • Inevitably, we run into issues. Gary Vaynerchuk calls these “warts”. These issues are the things that every client struggles with; what we need to overcome together in order for the KPI to become a reality. We help our clients discover these before we get started on every project.
  • Then we run. We put the plan in place and shoot for the stars. We set up the project timeline, hit milestones along the way, pulse people in on our project management platform Redbooth, and work together to accomplish our shared goals.

When our clients win, we win. Because we have measured what is important to us, we will know when we have gotten there. Our shared end goal, our milestones, and our timeline have all helped us reach the pivotal moment in time when we release the project into the wild. If everything is identified and lined up, we win. And we win, ultimately, the end user wins.
