Consistency is King

Despite what you have heard, let us say it again: content is NOT king, consistency is. You hear stories all the time in our industry about difficult clients who are more than difficult to please. This kind of just comes with the territory. For us, we take it as it is, and help bring our clients to the place they need to be.
One of the areas this occurs is when you step on the campus of a church, and absolutely everything looks different. Think of it like taking the best stuff from other churches and using it for yourself, but forgetting to brand it according to your own unique identity. This creates a jumbled presentation. It’s not a mosaic, but merely broken pieces taped together.
While we encourage you to grab ideas from other churches, especially churches that are doing better in specific areas than you are, we encourage you to remember who you are and why God has placed you in your context. The people you are trying to reach are most likely vastly different than the church down the street, and even more so across the country.
While you’re grabbing home-run hitting presentation pieces across the board, please remember to make it you. After all, no one else can be you but you.
What we want to do is ask you to consider how you can create a consistent presentation across your campuses. This means:
- When people step on your campus, your brand directs them where they should be.
- Your brand runs through every aspect of design.
- All signage carries brand consistency with it.
- Every ministry department brand points back to the overall brand.
- Your community wide efforts scream your brand, and people recognize it.
This is simple, but it is not easy. Need help? We can do that.
