They say, “content is king”. We say, “not even close”.

While content is critical, it is no where near as important as who you are, what you are doing, and how people can take the next steps with you.

What was the last car you bought? I last bought a Toyota Camry. Toyota’s are dependable, affordable, and get amazing gas mileage. I knew for me, that the Camry would provide the necessary space I needed for the family, would be professional when driving with clients or roomy enough for friends. It was a perfect match.

When I stepped on the lot, a kind saleswoman greeted me. She told me where she would be if I needed assistance. I already knew what car I wanted, because I did my research, I I got her right after I found it. We shook hands again, walked over to the car for the info, and went inside the office to draw up the paperwork.

This process was simple, clean, and quite routine for her. Everything had a place, and a next step. In total, I spent a little over an hour for the process, and I drove off the lot getting exactly what I wanted.

Good companies make it easy to give you what you want.

Toyota did that for me. They shook my hand, worked with me every step along the way, and I drove off with exactly what I needed.

Content is not king; process is.

You can have the best product in the world, but if you do not make it easy for your customers to get their hands on it, it does not matter. You must make it easy for them to take the next right step.

If we are talking website design, this is what that looks like:

  1. Your name is clearly labeled and should be the first thing a visitor recognizes.
  2. Your content is neatly laid out across menus and sliders.
  3. Your contact information is present from the top to the bottom.

If you can remember these three simple rules, then you can help your customers take their next right step with you. They will know who you are, what you are doing, and how they can take the next right step with you. This is exactly what we are going of with everyone one of our clients.

If we can help you and yours, let us know! We love doing this, and want to make it easy for you, and your customers.
