If you’re not failing, you’re not trying.

“A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” – Colin Powell

Last week we discussed this dream, and that if you want something bad enough, you need to be willing to give everything to it. That includes the possibility that in the end, you may end up failing.

Exponential West is over and church life moves forward. New strategies were talked, network connections were made, the church moves forward in new in exciting directions in the inner city and around the world.

Nothing worth doing is ever easy.

That’s why we encourage our pastors, that if there is anything else they can see themselves doing outside of ministry, they should do it. Vocational ministry is not for everyone. Church planting is not for everyone. Anyone can dream, but it takes a sold-out individual willing to sweat and do the hard work, in order to the dream become a reality.

Are you ready to sweat? Are you willing to lose everything and gain nothing? Are you willing to follow your God wherever He leads you, just to consider yourself faithful?

If you are, then run. Run as hard as you can. Grab your dreams and allow God to use you to create a new reality where those who are far from God, have a safe space to come back home.

It can happen. It will happen. It is happening.

The question is: Do you want to be a part of it?
