Review: Proclaim 2.0

Resolutions are dead. Resolve is alive.

We want to help you start 2017 off fresh with something new that could change your ministry for the better, breathing new life into your sails and setting up for you success this year.

Today, that something is Proclaim Online 2.0.

What is Proclaim Online?

Proclaim Online is church presentation software that puts high-end church media tools in the hands of your team in order to create a high quality and seamless experience for your church. The team here at Catalyst Creative has been using Proclaim Online for over a year and we want to share with you some great features that will make your worship and creative staff smile.

Cloud-Based Presentations and Unlimited Installs

With Proclaim Online, you have the ability to install on as many devices as you would like. This means you can now run all of your church’s media, no matter how many venues or ministries, from one account. With Cloud based editing, building presentations (for the weekend, weekday studies, etc…) is now a team effort instead of falling on a single staff member or volunteer.

By making these presentations a team venture, you have expert eyes needed for each piece of the puzzle (without the expensive plug-ins or buggy software). Worship can own lyrics, your media can focus on media needs, and preaching can be part of the process to ensure they have the media support for this weekend’s message.

CCLI Song Select

Gone are the days of cut and paste worship lyrics. With SongSelect, you can load  your CCLI registered music with just a couple clicks. Setting up your weekend worship now takes a few seconds to import and a couple of minutes to edit. No more awkward moments where your church is wondering where in the song to sing. Not to mention less head-snaps – you know the ones – where there’s a mistake on-screen and everyone snaps their head back to the tech team in the back.

Easy Sermon Recording and Publishing

With Proclaim Online, you can set cues in your presentation to start and stop sermon recording automatically. This takes the pressure off your team to cue up recordings. Once the service is over you can edit your sermons right in Proclaim Online and publish them directly to iTunes or to your churches’ website with the Proclaim Online sermon widget. So. Simple.

New Features to 2.0

If you are a current Proclaim Online user or have used it in the past, there are a ton of new features that make the presentation process even easier. There is now more customization for slides available to tailor your media to your needs, lots of new features to help the those on stage communicate with your tech team and new tools to help publish your services and record data.

Final Thoughts

With a litany of standard features and many more new ones, an amazingly user-friendly interface and weekly free media resources, the Faithlife team has done an amazing job of bringing the Church a presentation tool with top-tier functions, priced with the church in mind.

As a special gift to our readers, we have partnered with Faithlife to give away a one year subscription to Proclaim Online. You can enter the drawing for this subscription by leaving a comment below, detailing how your church would benefit by using Proclaim Online. We will pick a person at random at the end of the week and email you a code to your free subscription. Happy commenting, and good luck!

    Very convenient program!!!

Just starting in a new congregation. They aren’t used to visuals during the sermon. Current system not working great. With the new Logos sermon writing app, using Proclaim might be cool.

  3. Stephanie Murphy on January 9, 2017 at 6:58 PM

I am using Proclaim and I love it! A 1 year subscription would be fabulous!

  4. Andrew on January 9, 2017 at 7:38 PM

We would have an upgrade from EasyWorship 2009, and reduce the time training our staff

  5. Seth Clark on January 9, 2017 at 8:58 PM

Our pastor uses Logos for sermon prep, and wants better integration with that for preparing presentations for the message. The access to all of the media that you get as well would be a great benefit to our ministry.

We are already using Proclaim as a congregation and are absolutely loving it! Another year for free would be amazing as we are trying to move forward into the digital and technological age we live in.

  7. Adam on January 9, 2017 at 10:57 PM

I have always wanted to be able to use proclaim. A one year subscription would get my elders hooked!

  8. Bruce Lang on January 9, 2017 at 11:35 PM

Proclaim is an excellent system! Highly recommended.

We have recently installed a quality projector so that we can actually SEE the graphics, not just words! I have wanted to switch to Proclaim since it first came out. I’ve been a Logos user and Faithlife member for years and love the possibilities of integrations and seamless connectivity that Proclaim 2.0 brings. We are also new to Elvanto and tying the two together would be awesome. We are a fairly small congregation and funds for Proclaim are hard to justify so a year subscription would get us started and once there I’m sure we would never look back.

One of the best demo’s we’ve seen. Currently use EasyWorship, but need a more streamlined process between slide building across different volunteers.

  11. Grace Breytenbach on January 10, 2017 at 5:46 AM

We are a small congregation and use the free trial version of proclaim. Really enjoys proclaim so easy and love the program Will really apprecaiate a full year free access as we can not afford full version.

  12. Andrew on January 10, 2017 at 3:24 PM

This free trial would certainly be valued as our church is in the process of upgrading from using PowerPoint.

  13. Brian Roskamp on January 10, 2017 at 8:59 PM

I’ve been tossing around the idea of switching from EW 2006 to Proclaim for a year or two now. It seems like a solid product with lots of great features.

Having one program to do all steps of our Worship experience in one place—recording sermons, online Bible, high-quality graphics, & on & on in an easy to use platform that can be created together without having to be together (in the same room).

  15. Ben McCabe on January 11, 2017 at 1:32 AM

We already use Proclaim, and I am excited to check out 2.0. I recommended it to our Pastor over a year ago. As the guy who sits in the back every Sunday it is the best program, and we have tried more than a few. We are a small Church and love the scaled pricing available in Proclaim, but a free year would go a long way to freeing up those funds.

  16. James Morton on January 11, 2017 at 3:18 AM

The cloud-centric design of proclaim allows volunteers and staff to easily collaborate, familiarize with the service graphics set, and makes simultaneous edits without complicated license keys and setup. Great media library too!

  17. Joshua on January 11, 2017 at 3:24 AM

This would be a great help in ministering to our singles. Would be helpful in our pre-service organization and sermon slides as well.

  18. Dave B on January 11, 2017 at 4:11 AM

Cloud based is the best feature!

  19. Bohuslav Wojnar on January 11, 2017 at 9:40 AM

I have known about Proclaim since the beginning. Now I looked at version 2.0 and was surprised how much it developed. We just started to use it in our church for Sunday services. Since we are in Czechia, we need to see if our language will work well in all the situations. So far it looks great and I am full of expectation to use it for both projection and also for sermons recording.

  20. Bob Keehn on January 11, 2017 at 1:08 PM

We are a smaller congregation with a limited budget. We’ve considered using Proclaim and it would truly be a blessing.

  21. catalystchurchcreative on January 11, 2017 at 5:54 PM

Keep the comments up and share this as much as possible. If we hit 40 comments, we will give another subscription away!

  22. Michael Brown on January 11, 2017 at 6:18 PM

I pastor a small church and having the high-end tools offered by Proclaim would be a game-changer for my congregation.

  23. Kevin on January 12, 2017 at 11:59 PM

I want our presentation to be what it’s supposed to be…good news! As a pastor of a smaller church, we can struggle with that. Sometimes our presentation gets sloppy because we’re wearing so many hats and rushing to get everything set up on a Sunday with few hands. What a huge blessing it would be to have one thing we could do in advance, online…and especially the most visible thing for both regulars and newcomers–the overhead slides! Also, I record our messages on my iPhone, but would love to record through software! And as a pastor with limited church funds and having worked in ministry without pay for several years, I’ll jump on any opportunity for a free year of anything! 🙂
