Social Media Content Calendar for Churches

Social Media Content Calendar for Churches

“If you want to serve people, then you must reach them where they are at.”

We discuss this principle in video four of our video series, Creating a Web Presence that Lasts. Social media is not an option anymore, much like leaving the house without a cell phone. The world is drastically and dramatically different than it used to be, and the church must respond in kind.

Because the vast majority of your audience is online, you must reach them where they are at. That means you need to stick to the Big 3: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Each social media platform, like your audience members, are different. Therefore, your posts must cater to them contextually. However, that is not a rule for the week in and week out posts. You can and should post on social media via a social media scheduler, and you absolutely should use a social media content calendar.

We want to make it easy for you to manage your social media, and go from voiceless, to a church with a loud voice and a systematic strategy that you can implement right away. When you download the Social Media Content Calendar from us, you will receive:

  • An example of a church’s weekly posts.
  • A blank template for you to complete.
  • A set of rules that will guide you in implementing the calendar.

Really, it’s time to up the church’s social media game. There are just too many people in your audience who are looking for a significant connection, and they’re all online. It’s time for you to meet them there.

Blessings, to you. I am truly excited about this information you sent, which is coming at a very pivotal moment in our ministry. I have been newly installed as senior pastor and in October, will be ordained. This church is somewhat 20th century but we have been making strive. I would like for you/team to take a look at our website and share what ideas of improvement that we can do to enhance it. Also, the big 3 should be ministry accounts and not personal ones, right? I look forward to your feedback and I pray the continual blessings of the Lord, to be richly pour out on you, as you continue to empower the body of Christ for His glory.

As we look at the website, it’s apparent it needs an overhaul. Every few years or so, you are going to want to push major changes to your site, and this one looks like it has been dormant for a while. The good news is that you have an online presence, while so many do not.

The big 3 should be ministry accounts, and not at all personal. Truly, you should try to distinguish between the two in order to elevate the church’s brand.

That being said, we can give you free access to our Online Presence course if you are interested. It could help you out a great deal, and tell you the WHY behind everything online.
